Fresh Pico De Gallo

Pico is easy to make, super fresh and way more cost effective than buying it from the store.

Ingredients

4 Roma tomatoes, diced into small cubes

¼ cup finely chopped red onion

12 jalapenos, seeds and stem removed and chopped finely

4 Tablespoons chopped cilantro

½ lime, juiced

½ teaspoon salt, plus more to taste

Instructions

Chop tomatoes into small cubes, dice onion into small pieces and add to a small mixing bowl.

Remove seeds and stems from 1-2 jalapeños (depending on how spicy you want it) and dice small and add to bowl.

Roughly chop 4 tablespoons of cilantro and add to bowl.

Squeeze half a lime over salsa and sprinkle with salt. Stir to combine.

Notes

I think this tastes even better 24 hours after being made but it rarely lasts that long in my home.
