Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup flour
2 cups milk
2 cups chicken broth
1/4teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
Instructions
In a liquid measuring cup combine the milk and chicken broth and set aside.
In a medium saucepan melt butter over medium heat. Sprinkle in flour and whisk continuously for 2 minutes.
While whisking vigorously, pour the milk and broth mixture in till the flour is mixed in. Sprinkle in the pepper, garlic salt, and celery salt, lower heat a bit, and whisk frequently till the gravy simmers and thickens. Remove from heat and cover till ready to serve.
