- Add the strawberry puree and juice into the butter mixture.
- Mix until well combined. Serve and enjoy!
Brianna’s Expert Tips
- Use ripe fresh strawberries. If they’re overripe they will water down the butter.
- Let the butter come to room temperature. You can check if it’s ready by touching it and see if you indent it but it must not be greasy.
- Are you team smooth or team strawberry bits? If you like it smooth use a food processor and if you want pops of strawberry then use a fork.

Storage
Store leftovers on the counter for up to 1 day or in the fridge for up to 4 days in an airtight container. But if this homemade strawberry butter lasts that long in your household, I will be really surprised. My family tried it on everything.
Additions & Substitutions
You can add a splash of vanilla extract, honey, citrus zest, herbs, spices or nuts.
Other types of fresh fruit can also work like fresh berries. I try an incorporate what is in season. I have not tried it yet, but if you want an easy way you can also use strawberry jam. Let me know if you give it a try.
